Quadriplegic Jorge Grajales had his hands and legs amputated as an infant in Panama. When he was brought to the U.S. to be fitted with prostheses he stayed with Faye and John Dyksen of North Haldedon. He stayed with them each time he would return for a fitting. When he became school-aged, he started attending school in the U.S. and currently spends 10 months attending High Mountain Middle School and 2 months with his family in Panama. He plays on the town soccer team and recently received a trophy for shooting free-throws for an AIDS charity at school.
